Geneva

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace. I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats. I would like a secure garden to spend time in. I haven't tried walks just yet and will find this a bit overwhelming at the moment. I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I will be spayed before finding my forever home. 29-08-26 Geneva has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a worried little girl who is feeling quite overwhelmed by all the changes in her world and is going to need lots of love, patience and TLC from her new family. Geneva isn't used to being handled and it is clear that she hasn't had much socialisation in her life so far. She finds being picked up and handled quite worrying, but once she is safely in your arms she does settle and seems to enjoy having a gentle stroke. She is a sweet girl who just needs someone to show her that people can be kind and that the world isn't such a scary place. Geneva will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and who understand that she will need to settle in at her own pace. We would consider a home with teenagers aged 16+ who are calm and respectful around dogs. Geneva will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help show her the ropes and take her under their wing. Having a canine friend will be very important for her as she learns that home life can be a safe and happy place. Geneva has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to be understanding as she learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She doesn't yet walk on a lead and harness, so she will need to practise wearing these around the home and garden first, gradually building her confidence before she is ready to venture further afield. Her new family will need to take things at her pace and understand that progress may be slow to begin with. Geneva is a sweet little soul who has so much to learn, but with the right home, a kind resident dog and patient adopters, we hope she will blossom into a happy and confident little companion. She needs someone who will see the frightened girl she is today and be willing to give her the time and love she needs to discover just how wonderful life can be.  Geneva has been treated for a urine infection on arrival.
