Meet Harris! Harris is a very sweet and affectionate boy with a big personality and an even bigger love for toys! Harris is a lovely excitable boy who is always happy to see you and loves being around people. He enjoys playing with his soft toys and squeaky toys and if there is a toy nearby chances are Harris will be having a great time with it. He is a bright boy too and already knows how to sit and give paw responds to his name and is working on his recall. Harris enjoys his walks and generally walks relatively well although he can pull forwards when he gets excited. He currently walks on a Halti which helps him manage his enthusiasm when out and about. One of the main things Harris needs his new family to understand is that he is very under-socialised around other dogs. He becomes extremely excited and can bark when he sees them so he will need to be the only dog in his new home. He is currently muzzled around other dogs for everyone’s safety and his new family will need to continue managing this appropriately and helping him learn how to cope with seeing dogs while out on walks. Despite his excitement around dogs Harris is an incredibly sweet boy who loves people and enjoys being part of the action. He can live with children of all ages making him a lovely family dog for the right home. Harris is looking for a family who can give him plenty of love patience and positive training. He would benefit from people who can help him channel his excitement provide lots of appropriate play and enrichment and continue building his confidence and focus when out on walks. He has so much love to give and is ready to find a family who will help him become the very best version of himself.
