About Aston

Meet Aston! Aston is a very sweet affectionate young boy with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life! Full of energy and enthusiasm he’s looking for an active home that can give him plenty of exercise enrichment and the time to help him grow into the amazing companion he’s destined to be. Having come into our care as a young puppy after being found abandoned in a box Aston has missed out on some important early experiences. As a result he is still learning about the world around him and will need a patient understanding family who are committed to continuing his training. Aston is a boisterous but incredibly friendly boy who loves being around people. He already knows some basic commands including sit lie down and give paw and walks well on a Dogmatic headcollar. Like many young dogs he can become overexcited and may snatch for treats or toys so he will benefit from continued work on impulse control and focus. As a young dog Aston will thrive with a consistent routine and ongoing training. His new family should be prepared to continue his obedience and general puppy training help him build focus and engagement continue his socialisation with other dogs and the wider world and reinforce good manners particularly discouraging him from jumping up when he’s excited. With positive reward-based training Aston has all the potential to become a fantastic companion. He can be quite needy and enjoys being close to his people so he may experience some separation anxiety. A patient family willing to gradually build his confidence when left alone and provide plenty of reassurance will help him settle into home life. Because of his bouncy nature Aston is best suited to a home with dog-savvy children aged 13 years and over. He is not able to live with dogs at this time. Aston is a wonderful young dog with so much potential. With love patience consistency and ongoing training he’ll reward his new family with endless affection fun and loyal companionship. If you’re looking for an energetic best friend and are ready to help a young dog reach his full potential Aston could be the perfect match.
