Meet Dexter! Dexter is a lively crossbreed with a playful clever personality and plenty of energy. After a challenging start Dexter is flourishing and has grown into a large dog that will thrive with structure consistency and routine alongside ongoing training in a home. He’s very smart and loves toys games and enrichment activities that keep his mind active. Dexter is a typical puppy at heart; silly playful and full of fun with absolutely no malice. Dexter enjoys cuddling up on the sofa with his toys and his K9 Carers showing a softer affectionate side alongside his lively spirit. Meeting new people can be overstimulating for him so he’s learning to greet everyone politely with the help of a muzzle and he’s making excellent progress. Dexter would suit experienced adopters who can offer ongoing training mental stimulation and lots of love. He will need multiple meets at the centre including seeing him on lead off lead and wearing his muzzle so that potential adopters can fully understand his personality and needs. He will be best suited to a home with children 16+ and no other dogs. Our clever playful boy is ready for a committed home that can match his energy continue his learning and give him the love and structure he thrives on. With the right family Dexter will be a loyal affectionate and endlessly entertaining companion.
