Dennis

As a young puppy, Dennis is not yet housetrained and will need his basic training continued from the beginning, including toilet training, household manners, settling and gradually building up time alone. Dennis is looking for dedicated owners who understand the demands of raising a lively puppy and are prepared to invest plenty of time, patience and positive training. He could potentially live with secondary school-aged children who are confident around an energetic puppy and understand appropriate interactions. Dennis came to us with no history, so we do not know his exact breed mix. We estimate he will reach a medium-large size when fully grown. With the right guidance, Dennis has every opportunity to grow into a wonderful companion. Dennis is a young large breed puppy with a big personality and plenty of energy! He is affectionate, playful and curious, enjoying exploring, spending time with people, tasty treats and playing with toys, especially small squeaky ones. Dennis is still learning how to behave appropriately and can be very mouthy, particularly when excited or playful. His mouthing can be quite heavy and persistent, so his new family will need to be prepared to work patiently and consistently on this, helping him learn appropriate ways to play and interact.
