Izzy

Izzy can live with secondary school-aged children who understand that, as an older girl, she would benefit from a calm and respectful home. She has coped well with informal handling at the vets, but she will require a muzzle for nail clipping and injections, as she is not a fan of either. Izzy is looking for a loving home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by people who will cherish her. Although she is 16, she still loves getting out for a sniff, exploring at her own pace and, of course, enjoying plenty of cuddles. Izzy would make a wonderful companion and could be the perfect addition to a loving family. Izzy is a super sweet 16-year-old Chihuahua who may be an older lady, but she still has plenty of love and curiosity to share. She is coping well in kennels, although she is always more than happy to come out for a little potter and enjoys exploring new areas, having a good sniff and taking in her surroundings. Izzy doesn’t always need to go far due to her age, but she certainly enjoys getting out and about at her own pace. She is a very friendly girl who is happy to meet new people and say hello. Izzy loves a cuddle and a fuss and is happy to be handled and groomed by her carers. Izzy is currently staying with one of our lovely foster families and is settling in comfortably proving to be a perfect guest. Her foster mum say's she is enjoying exploring the garden and is rather fond of cuddles.
