Rolo

Rolo would like to be the only dog in his home. While he is friendly towards other dogs when out and about and could enjoy having walking buddies and canine social friends, he previously attended doggy day care where he guarded his home mate, so would need to be the only dog in the home. Rolo will need adopters who are home for the majority of the time, as he really thrives on being around his people and enjoys having company. His ideal family will be active and ready to include him in their adventures, while also appreciating a loving boy who wants nothing more than to be close to his humans and snuggle up on the sofa at the end of the day. Rolo is a curious, affectionate 5-year-old boy who loves being outdoors and exploring, although he can be vigilant in new or unfamiliar situations and likes to stay close to his humans for reassurance. He absolutely adores people and will happily follow you around the home, making sure he is never too far away. Rolo is instantly friendly with new people and loves nothing more than leaning in for attention and a cuddle. He enjoys all sorts of toys and loves to play, although he can be enthusiastic with soft toys and will happily rip them up, so these will need to be monitored. Rolo also enjoys travelling in the car, making him a wonderful companion for days out and holidays. He could live with primary-school-aged children and would suit an active family who can give him plenty of companionship, fun and, of course, lots of sofa cuddles!
