Lola

Lola is a friendly and lovely-natured girl who enjoys a fuss once she has got to know you. She does like to take a few minutes to think things through ... then she quickly comes around and enjoys getting to know people. Her curiosity is one of her best qualities — even if something seems a little scary at first, she soon decides she needs to go and have a closer look! Lola can have doggy friends when she is out and about, and she will enjoy having plenty of opportunities to explore and meet the world. She is currently living at home until a suitable new home is found, so if you're looking for a sweet, curious girl who enjoys a fuss and just needs a little time to get to know you, get in touch. Lola is a gorgeous 7 year-old Border/Bedlington Terrier cross. Through no fault of her own, she is looking for a loving home where she can be the only dog. She can happily have doggy friends when out and about, but she would prefer not to share her home with another dog. Lola can live with children of primary school age and would suit a family who can give her plenty of love, patience and encouragement as she settles in. She can be a little unsure when meeting new people, but it doesn't take her long to warm up and come over to say hello. When faced with a new environment, she may be a little wary at first, but her curious side soon takes over and she will want to have a sniff and investigate. Lola is also very good when it comes to getting ready for walks and is happy to have her harness and lead put on.
