Koda

Koda is looking for adopters who will enjoy getting involved in his training and helping him grow in confidence around new people and situations. A home with a private garden would give him a great space to play, relax and, most importantly, chase his beloved tennis balls. He travels really well in the car and settles happily on journeys, so he could make a brilliant companion for days out and new adventures. He is also used to spending some time home alone and has previously been happy to curl up on the sofa while his family are out. Koda has a lovely balance of energy and affection. He is always up for an adventure, but once the fun is over he is more than happy to settle down for a well-earned snooze. If you enjoy an active lifestyle and would love to build a strong bond with a clever, playful dog, Koda could be a great match. Koda is a sweet, active boy with a big love for tennis balls, food and getting out to explore. He can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but give him a bit of time to get to know you and he soon starts to relax, seek out affection and show off his lovely personality. He would enjoy a home where he can keep both his body and brain busy, with plenty of walks, games and opportunities to sniff and explore. Koda would like to be the only dog in the home, although he could have suitable dog friends to enjoy walks with. He has a strong prey drive around smaller animals, so he will need a home without cats or small furries. Koda could live with calm, dog-savvy secondary school-aged children who can recognise when he would prefer some space and allow him to come to them in his own time.
