Sol

Sol is a fantastic young boy who needs a calm, loving home who can help him build his confidence and let him take the world at his own pace. Sol will require ongoing training in general confidence, he is also a very active breed and will require lots of mental stimulation, enrichment and appropriate exercise. Any adopter will be fully supported by our Training Team and Behaviour Coaches the entire way through the adoption process. Sol is a very handsome 1 year old Collie. Sol is a very sweet boy who is looking for a gentle and understanding home as he is very nervous of new people and places. Although he is nervous he does warm up to people quickly, he is very sweet, friendly and seeks out attention. When uncomfortable he can show appeasement behaviours so a home that understands dog body language will be beneficial to Sol. Due to a lack of exposure in his early days, Sol finds new things scary and he needs a lot of confidence building around the car, due to this he would be suited to a home with a secure garden and quiet walking areas close to the home. Sol is dog friendly and gets a lot of confidence from other dogs, therefore Sol would prefer to live with a confident dog who can show him the world isn't such a scary place. Sol could also live with dog savvy teens who can respect and understand a nervous dog.
