Rudy

Meet Rudy!  Don’t let his age fool you, this lively, energetic boy has plenty of energy and enthusiasm. Rudy is a friendly, excitable and affectionate boy who absolutely loves attention and fuss.  He has a big personality and is not shy about letting you know when he wants you to interact with him!  Rudy can be quite vocal when he wants your attention or, more importantly, when he thinks it’s time for you to throw his ball.  One of Rudy’s favourite things is chasing his toys, and he could happily spend plenty of time playing and having fun.  He also enjoys his long walks and would love an active home who can provide him with plenty of exercise and opportunities to explore.  Rudy is a strong boy on the lead, so his new adopters will need to be confident handling him and willing to continue on his lead manners.  He does know his basic commands and, with the right guidance, could continue to build on these.  Rudy is looking for an active home where he can enjoy lots of walks, playtime and mental stimulation.  He would suit someone who enjoys getting out and about and is looking for a fun, lively companion with a larger-than-life personality.  Rudy will need a private secure garden. Rudy has interacted well with other dogs whilst in our care, so we feel he could potentially be rehomed with another lively dog of similar size following a successful meet and greet. No cats for Rudy. As Rudy came into the home as a stray, we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years. If you have a holiday booked in the next 3 months, please wait until you return to apply for a dog. *Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge.
