Blue

Meet Blue!  Blue is a beautiful ex-racing greyhound who is now looking for a loving forever home where he can enjoy the life he truly deserves.  Blue is an incredibly sweet, friendly and affectionate boy.  He loves being around people and is happiest when he can be right by your side.  The more fuss and attention he gets, the better! He’s the kind of boy who will happily soak up all the love you have to give.  He walks lovely on a lead and really enjoys his time out and about.  One of his favourite things is chasing around our compound with his beloved squeaky toys – watching him play and have fun is such a joy!  As Blue has never lived in a home before, his new family will need to understand that there will be a period of adjustment.  He will need patience, kindness and help with house training as he learns all about home life.  Everything will be new to him, so he’ll need time to settle, learn a new routine and discover how wonderful being a much-loved pet can be.  Blue has so much love to give and deserves a home where he can feel safe, cherished and part of the family. Blue is ready for his next chapter and we would love to see him find the special home he deserves.  He will need a private secure garden where he can safely be off lead to enjoy his zoomies. Blue has socialised with other dogs whilst in our care.  He can be a little nervous and unsure around them so we feel he would be best rehomed as the only dog in the home where his new adopter can slowly build up his confidence around other dogs at Blue’s pace. No cats or small furries for Blue. We feel Blue would be best rehomed where any children in the home are 14+ years. If you have a holiday booked in the next 3 months, please wait until you return to apply for a dog. *Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge.
