Lala

Meet Lala, our beautiful Chow girl! Lala arrived at Battersea with a lovely history in her previous home. She previously lived with two children and two cats and was described as an independent girl who could be typically aloof at times. Since arriving onsite, Lala has shown herself to be a very sensitive soul who can be worried by new people and handling. She has taken some time to find her feet, but is growing in confidence every day around our London site. Lala is a true Chow through and through and can be quite aloof while she gets to know you. Her new owners should have experience with the breed and a good understanding of typical Chow traits and behaviour. She will need kind and patient owners who are happy to give her time to build a bond at her own pace. Lala is independent around other dogs and will need to be the only dog in the home, although she would love some calm doggy friends to enjoy walks with. She could potentially live with another very independent dog who is happy to give her space and doesn't seek lots of interaction in the home. Lala previously lived happily with two cats, so she could potentially live with a dog-savvy cat following careful introductions. She is looking for a home away from the inner city with access to her own private garden. Due to her worried nature, she would prefer to live with teenagers aged 13+ who can understand when she needs some space. Lala is a lovely girl who is looking for owners who will give her the time and patience she needs to come out of her shell. She is one for the Chow enthusiasts and has plenty of potential to become a wonderful companion.
