Nyx

Nyx has had a longer journey with us at Battersea and has shown us that she finds the cattery environment rather worrying. After giving her plenty of time and patience, we have discovered just how wonderful of a companion Nyx can be when provided with space, opportunities to interact on her own terms, and of course lots of treats and training! Nyx likes to follow her people around the home, seeking attention when she chooses it. She is a big snoozer and loves long undisturbed naps. She also enjoys being brushed, which will be a good way to bond with her initially. Nyx is a girl who knows what she likes, and there's nothing more she enjoys than being in the company of her favourite people. Need a work buddy to assist you with your emails or a sofa buddy to binge watch films and movies with? Then Nyx really is your girl with the big personality that will just melt your heart. As she's had a lot of upheaval in recent years, she'd appreciate a calmer, more settled home with adults (and/ teenagers +) who can respect her boundaries and read her body language. Nyx is very communicative and has clear signs when something is causing her discomfort. And like most cats, she enjoys a predictable routine! Nyx requires access to a private garden. Nyx has shown she does not like other cats, therefore a home without lots of cats in the local area (or passing through the garden!) would be more ideal.
