Tirana and Simba

Tirana (2years old) and Simba (4years old) are a lovely pair who have formed a wonderful friendship during their time in the shelter. Both came into our care as strays and have blossomed into affectionate, friendly cats. Simba is always the first to come over and say hello, eager to be involved in everything that's going on—and, of course, hoping you might have a tasty treat for him! Tirana is a little more reserved and can be easily startled, but once she realises she's safe and you start giving her some fuss, she soon melts into your affection. We think she'll truly come into her own in a home environment, where you'll likely see a much more confident side to her than we're able to in the shelter. Together, they make a wonderful pair. Simba is always looking out for Tirana, happily sitting beside her and offering quiet reassurance whenever she's feeling unsure. Their bond is incredibly sweet to watch. Simba has a slightly cloudy eye, most likely due to an old injury or an untreated eye infection before he arrived with us. It doesn't cause him any problems, and he still has vision in that eye—it simply looks a little different. Tirana and Simba are looking for a home with access to a garden once they've settled in. They could live with other friendly cats and would be happiest in either an adult-only home or one with older, cat-savvy children.
