Lucy

I will need an adult-only home that understands me. I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats. I would like a secure garden to spend time in. I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction. I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I will be spayed before going to my forever home! 27-08-26 Lucy is a very worried lady who has come to us from a breeder and is understandably nervous around people. She can be quite vocal when approached and doesn’t yet enjoy being handled, she prefers to keep her distance while she works out that people can be trusted. Lucy is a sweet girl underneath her worries and will need plenty of TLC, patience and understanding from her new family as she begins to build her confidence. Lucy is very active and playful with her kennel friends, and this is where we get to see a little more of her personality. She would love a home that can offer her an active lifestyle once she has had time to settle and feel comfortable. She will also need at least one kind and confident resident dog who she can look to and lean on for reassurance as she learns about home life and gains confidence. Lucy has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to be patient as she learns about house training and walking on a lead. These things may take some time, and she will need a family who is willing to go at her pace without putting pressure on her. Lucy will need an adult-only home with ex-breeding experience, where her needs will be understood and she can have the time and space she needs to blossom. With patience, love and the support of a confident canine friend, we hope Lucy will slowly learn to trust and show us the wonderful girl hiding underneath her worries.
