Julius

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace. I would like a home with my best friend Jules. I would like a secure garden to spend time in. I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction. I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I am being treated for sore ears and will be neutered before adoption. Julius would like a home with his best friend Jules 21-09-26 Julius has come to us from a breeder with his best friend Jules, and these two are incredibly bonded. They love being together and take great comfort from one another, so we would really love to find them a home where they can continue their journey together. Julius is a very worried boy who is currently feeling overwhelmed to find himself here. He is quite worried about being handled, so will initially run away from you and hide, but once in your arms he does settle, he just needs time and TLC as he starts to come out of his shell. He has already discovered the joy of soft toys, which is very sweet to see, though he can sometimes grumble at other dogs when they are approaching the toys and start to guard them from them, so this is something his new adopters would need to be able to work with him with. Julius will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and understand that he will need to settle in completely at his own pace. We would consider a home with gentle, dog-savvy teenagers aged 16+ who can give him the space and patience she needs. Although Julius and Jules are looking for a home together, we feel they would also benefit from having another kind and confident resident dog in their new home to help them settle in. Having another dog around will give them extra reassurance and help boost their confidence. Julius has never lived in a home before, so will need kind and patient adopters as he learns all about home life and new skills like house training. He will also need to learn all about walking on a lead and harness, first practicing around the garden. Julius is a lovely boy and with time, love and kindness he will start to come out of his shell and leave the past behind him. He is currently being treated for sore ears.
