Oz

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace. I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats. I would like a secure garden with 6ft+ fences. I am learning to walk on a lead, but it's still very new for me. I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I am overweight and will benefit from a healthy diet. 21-09-26 Oz has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. He is a lovely boy who is understandably very nervous at the moment and feeling overwhelmed by all the changes in his life. He is in need of plenty of love, patience and TLC as he settles in and begins to understand that he is safe. Oz will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and understand that he will need time and patience to settle at his own pace. He will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home to be his friend, give him reassurance and help show him the ropes. We would consider a home with dog-savvy teenagers aged 16+. Oz has never lived in a home before, so there will be lots of new things for him to learn. His new family will need to gently introduce him to home life and help him learn new skills such as house training. He is beginning to learn about walking on a lead and harness, but this is still very new to him and he can be quite skittish. Having a confident dog by his side will be really important to help him feel safe and give him the confidence to enjoy his walks. Oz is a sweet boy who just needs someone to give him the time he needs. With patience, kindness and a lovely canine friend to guide him, we hope to see his confidence grow and his gentle personality begin to shine.  He has arrived a little overweight, but with a healthy diet and some exercise he should soon start to shed this excess weight.
