Odessa

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace. I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats. I would like a secure garden to spend time in. I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction. I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I had 5 teeth extracted at the time of my spay. 20-09-26 Odessa is a very sweet girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is feeling quite shy and overwhelmed by all the changes around her at the moment, but despite this, she is a gentle girl who is easy to handle. She loves nothing more than snuggling up with her kennel friends, and having them close by helps her to feel safe and reassured. Although Odessa is understandably unsure at the moment, she is starting to come out of her shell a little more each day. She is beginning to show us more of her lovely personality and will even offer you her paw, which is such a precious little sign that she is learning to trust the people around her. Odessa will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who understand that she will need time to settle in and build her confidence at her own pace. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and help her feel safe as she adjusts to family life. We would consider homing Odessa with gentle, dog-savvy teenagers aged 13+ who understand that she may need some space and patience while she settles. As Odessa has never lived in a home before, everything will be new to her. She will need to learn all about home life and new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. Her new family will need to be patient and understanding and allow her to take each new experience at her own pace. Odessa is a gentle little girl who has so much potential. With the right home, a kind doggy friend and people who will give her the time and reassurance she needs, we hope she will soon blossom into the happy, confident girl we know she can be.
