Millie

Millie is recovering from an operation for a luxating patella and is making good progress. So, we are looking for an owner who is willing to continue on with her physio and exercise routine which is being built up very gradually. Millie does spend some time in a crate as part of her recovery, so she will need adopters who are at home during the day to let her out as and when she needs toilet breaks. Millie would go out on our foster scheme in the meantime, so she remains under DogsTrust care but it will be in view to adopt once she has recovered and has the green light from our vet. Millie is a firm favourite with the staff who love her cheeky personality and her loving nature. Millie is a fun-loving Jack Russell Terrier. She may be small, but she has a huge personality! Millie is very much a terrier at heart and will chase birds, cats etc, so she will need to be the only pet in the home and will require her own private garden which will need to have solid wall or fence going all around. Saying that, she is the most affectionate dog and loves nothing more than kisses and a cuddle. She is not keen on other dogs at the moment and would prefer to be walked in quieter areas with few dogs around, so that she can enjoy her time out and sniffs with her family. Millie can live with teenagers and above as she has been known to guard chews and toys she deems ‘special’, so this will need management in the home.
