Max

Max is a 4 year old Patterdale terrier who is a little pocket rocket. In typical terrier fashion, he loves nothing more than a nice long walk followed by a play session with his toys - he particularly loves teddies and squeaky toys. Although his toys don't always last very long, we always make sure he has lots to choose from! Max needs a busy home with lots to do, as he has a very busy terrier brain that loves to work! We've learned that Max definitely prefers toys to treats, and he can be a little particular in what he will eat - he is partial to a bit of ham though! Max can be a bit of an escape artist, so would need a secure garden with tall boundaries to ensure he is safe. We can't wait to see this handsome chappy in his forever home! This gorgeous lad is 5-year old Patterdale, Max! He's looking for an active family to go on adventures with. He's able to share his home with secondary school aged children, but is looking to be the only pet in his new home. He is looking to live somewhere quieter with less dog traffic, as he can be vocal towards other dogs, but with work, will be able to have calm doggy friends he can walk with. Max is a very people oriented lad, being most comfortable when his humans are around. For this reason his perfect home would have someone home most of the time to give him all the company he needs. On his walks, Max can pull on the lead and chews his leads when overwhelmed, so will need patient owners willing to work on this with him. Max has clearly been very loved prior to coming into our care due to the sad passing of his previous owner. He has clearly had some housetraining, and tries his best to keep his kennel clean. He is however missing his home comforts and cannot wait to find his special someone.
