Izzy

Izzy is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can enjoy her retirement years at her own pace. She would suit someone who is around for most of the day, as she will need time and patience to build up being left alone. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would be happy to live with a friendly canine companion pending successful meet at the centre. She can also live with older secondary school children who understand that, as an older girl, she needs plenty of peaceful time to rest. Izzy doesn't need long walks or big adventures. She would much rather enjoy shorter walks, plenty of sniffing and lots of company and cuddles. If you're looking for a gentle older companion to share your days with, Izzy could be the perfect girl for you. Izzy is a lovely 13 year old Jack Russell Terrier cross who came into our care as a stray previously. She is a gentle, friendly girl who loves people and really enjoys the company of other dogs. She is currently in foster with another dog and doing extremely well. Izzy can be playful but, as an older lady, she also enjoys plenty of rest and would suit a quieter home. She can live with older secondary school children who understand she needs space when sleeping. She enjoys shorter walks and lots of sniffing and exploring at her own pace. Izzy hasn't been left for long, so her new family will need to be around most of the time and build up time alone very gradually. Izzy deserves a loving home where she can feel safe, settled and enjoy her golden years surrounded by people who adore her.
