Hi, I’m Ivy! 💕🐾 Hello lovely people, my name is Ivy, and I’m a very sweet little girl who is hoping that my forever family is out there somewhere waiting to find me. I didn’t come into the centre in the best condition, but I’m ready to put all of that behind me and start my next chapter with a family who will love me as much as I love them. My absolute favourite thing in the whole world is a fuss and a cuddle. Honestly, if you have a spare pair of hands for ear scratches, tummy rubs and cuddles, I’m your girl! I adore meeting new people and will happily make friends with everyone who wants to give me a bit of attention. I just love being around my people. ❤️ Because I love my humans so much, I’m looking for a home where someone is around for most of the time. I can be left for periods of time, but I’ll need my new family to build this up gradually once I’ve settled in. I’d like my new home to have children aged 11+ who understand that I can sometimes get very excited. I have lots of love and enthusiasm to give, and sometimes my excitement gets the better of me! A secure garden would be wonderful too. I’m housetrained, so having somewhere safe where I can potter about, have a good sniff and do my business would be perfect. I’ve previously lived with another dog, so I may be happy to have a doggy brother or sister in my new home, provided we meet here at the centre first and we both think we’d make good friends. And if I decide I’d rather be the only dog at home, that’s okay too – I’d be more than happy to have some sensible doggy walking buddies. There is one important thing my new family needs to know about me. I’m a Bulldog cross, which means I do have some medical issues that need to be considered. The lovely team here will be able to talk you through everything and make sure you understand what I need to keep me happy and comfortable. But if you’re looking for the sweetest, fussiest little girl who will happily soak up all the love you have to give, then maybe… just maybe… I’m the girl you’ve been looking for.
