Misty

Hello Everyone, I’m Misty, a beautiful older Husky looking for a retirement home where I can enjoy all the things I love most in life… plenty of fuss, gentle strolls, and lots of time for sniffing around the garden! Now, I may be an older girl, but don’t let that fool you. I still enjoy getting out and about for a little potter and exploring the world at my own pace. Once I’ve had my wander, I’m more than happy to settle down and enjoy some company and affection. In fact, I absolutely love a fuss and will happily soak up all the attention you can give me. I’d really love a home with a secure garden and 6ft fencing, where I can safely enjoy my favourite pastime of sniffing every inch of the garden and having a gentle potter around whenever I please. I’ve previously been used to being left home alone, but at this stage in my life I’d prefer a family who can keep that to around two hours at a time. After all, I’ve earned the right to enjoy my retirement years with people who want to spend time with me. I’d like to be the only pet in the home, as I enjoy having all the comforts and attention to myself. However, I’m happy to have some canine walking buddies with a similar calm temperament, and we are introduced at my own pace. I could live with sensible children aged 14 years and over, and as long as everyone is respectful, we should get on just fine. I came into rescue through no fault of my own, and I’m hoping someone will look beyond my age and see the wonderful companion I have to offer. I still have so much love, loyalty, and companionship to give. All I need is someone willing to give an older girl a chance. Could you be the one to help me enjoy the happy retirement I deserve?
