Runa

Meet our gorgeous Runa. She is a German shepherd cross who enjoys spending time with people and has a gentle nature that shines through once she feels comfortable. She is generally good with other dogs and can enjoys walking with other calm dogs who match her personality. Runa can be vocal when seeing other dogs, particularly when out on walks or when feeling overwhelmed. Due to this she is looking to be the only dog in the household so she can soak in all the attention for herself. Runa is partially deaf and has already begun learning hand signals to help with communication and training. She has shown herself to be intelligent and eager to learn, and she will need new owners who are committed to continuing her hand signal training and building her confidence. She is looking for her new home to have a private and secure garden to give her an off-lead area to potter and continue building her confidence in her new environment. Like all German Shepherds, she benefits from mental enrichment and regular exercise, and she is also happy having fuss from her known people and snoozing. Potential owners will need to speak with a Battersea vet prior to rehoming Runa. She is looking for a patient and understanding home that can provide structure, guidance, and ongoing training. In return, she will offer loyalty, companionship, and plenty of affection.
