Meet Hoppo our ex-racing Greyhound with a sweet and affectionate personality. This lad can be worried by other dogs and may be quite vocal when they come too close, so he’ll need a quiet home where he can build his confidence at his own pace. Hoppo is friendly, loving and enjoys a good fuss! He has made great progress with his training and is now walking nicely on the lead and responding well to his handlers. He’s even discovered that his crate makes a pretty good place for a snooze! Hoppo will need patient owners who can help him feel safe and confident, but in return, you’ll get a lovely, funny and affectionate boy who is ready to find his forever home. ❤️ Due to his breed & background, Hoppo is not able to live with cats or other small pets. He is insecure with other dogs & would ideally need to be the only dog in the home, however he could potentially live with another calm, sociable sighthound as he takes comfort from them. Hoppo is looking for a home in a quiet location away from busy dog walking routes and will need a secure private garden for off lead burn offs.
