Jasmine

Jasmine is an affectionate Lurcher who enjoys spending time with people. She's a really tactile dog and likes to be standing right next to you and leaning on your legs if she can. She is currently based at Battersea Old Windsor. Jasmine is spending some time in a temporary foster home and she loves her home comforts. She is housetrained, travels well in the car and sleeps through the night. She loves attention and will lean into her foster carers asking for fuss. Jasmine initially found some interactions with other dogs a little challenging, but she has made lovely progress through positive training and confidence-building work. She has been able to make a couple of dog friends who she enjoys socialising with however, she can still find some encounters overwhelming and may occasionally stare or become vocal when she is unsure. For this reason, we feel she would prefer being the only dog in the home while she is still working on her social skills Jasmine enjoys her walks and we think would be the sort of dog who would love going out and about exploring new places and going on longs walks but will then happily come back to her home comforts and have a snooze on her bed. She is such a kind hearted, endearing dog who will do anything to be close to people and will wriggle up to you for a fuss. She will most likely need some support when learning to spend time on her own at home. As the company of people is so important to her she struggles when left alone and will need help learning to be confident and independent at home. Jasmine is a charming girl who enjoys life's little pleasures, including tasty treats, gentle grooming sessions and relaxing in a sunny spot watching the world go by.
