Orange

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace. I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats. I would like a secure garden to spend time in. I am learning to walk on a lead, but it's still very new for me. I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I have a mammary lump, which will be assessed when I'm spayed. 21-09-26 Orange has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a very sweet girl who is understandably nervous and feeling overwhelmed by all the changes in her life. She is in need of lots of love, patience and TLC as she begins to settle in and understand that she is safe. We feel that with time and kindness, Orange will truly blossom. Orange will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with ex-breeding dogs and understand that she will need time and patience to settle in at her own pace. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend, give her reassurance and take her under their wing. Having a confident canine companion will help Orange to feel more secure as she learns about her new life. We would consider homing her with gentle, dog savvy teenagers 16+. Orange has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she learns all about home life and new skills such as house training. She has started learning to walk on a lead and harness, but this is still very new to her and she finds it quite worrying at the moment. She will need plenty more gentle practice, and having a confident dog walking alongside her will help to boost her confidence and show her that there is nothing to be afraid of. Orange is a lovely girl with so much potential, and we hope that once she feels safe and settled, we will get to see her sweet personality shine. She just needs a patient family who will give her the time, love and reassurance she needs to blossom into the happy girl we know she can be.
