Molly

Molly can live with children aged 8+. Molly is an energetic, bouncy girl, that may get over enthusiastic at times. She is very affectionate and will lean into your legs for a fuss. Molly will need her own fully secured garden with 6ft fencing and no neighbouring dogs. Her favourite thing to do is chase balls, so having the space to do this in her own garden would be ideal. Molly is uncomfortable around other dogs which she communicates by barking. We are doing training with her around other dogs and it is important that she continues this in her new home but she will need to walk in quiet areas where she won’t come across many, if any, other dogs. Molly has lived with cats in her previous home but she grew up with them. She has the potential to live with a cat in her new home, pending slow, careful introductions. It is important that any cat Molly lives with is confident as when she see’s cats out and about and they run away, she is interested in chasing them. Molly is a wonderful companion who loves nothing more than being close to her people. She enjoys cuddles, playing with her toys and plenty of cosy naps, and she is always happy to be with you, regularly checking in for reassurance that everything is okay. Molly is a rewarding girl to work with and is making great progress with her training. Molly absolutely loves using her nose and is fantastic at scent trails. She enjoys finding hidden treats around the house or garden, turning it into a brilliant little treasure hunt! She also loves having the freedom to run and would really enjoy access to a secure garden or secure field where she can safely let loose and have some much-needed zoomies. As Molly continues her training around other dogs, she is looking for a quieter, rural-style home where she can feel comfortable and relaxed. She would thrive best on the edge of a town or city, with easy access to quieter walking areas. Busy walking environments can be overwhelming for her, whereas she really comes into her own when exploring fields and peaceful rural spaces. With a patient, understanding home that can continue to give her the reassurance, love and support she needs, Molly has so much to offer and will make a wonderfully affectionate companion.
