Chester

Chester would love a quiet home where he can settle in at his own pace and build his confidence. He is fine with any adults but was rescued as a kitten from a home in which he was mistreated by a child and became nervous around them so for this reason any children in the home would need to be ages 13 and over. Chester would need indoor and outdoor access in his new home, ideally in a low traffic area as his previous home was very rural with little to no traffic so he may not be streetwise. Chester can be scared of dogs so would be happiest in a dog free home. He has lived with cats before and was tolerant of them so may be able to live with another cat provided introductions are gradual and there are plenty of resources for both of them. He can live with any small pets as long as they are securely housed. Meet Chester <3 Handsome, big and incredibly sweet, Chester is a lovely tabby boy looking for a patient and loving home. Chester can be a little nervous at first, and he’s not the sort of cat who will rush over to ask for attention. He prefers to take his time and get to know you at his own pace. But once you offer him some gentle fuss and strokes, he’s very happy to accept them — and you’ll often be rewarded with a lovely purr! He would love a quiet home where he can build his confidence and discover just how nice life can be. Chester is not the best traveller so will need a large carrier to keep him comfortable on the way home.
