Lexie

Lexie would feel most comfortable in a quiet and patient home with children over the age of 13 or adults only as for all she’s a confident attention seeker after she’s settled, she won’t settle at all in busy homes. She needs her space at first to feel safe and relaxed. Lexie will need outdoor access in her new home. Ideally introductions should be through a back garden away from busy roads as she previously lived in the countryside so we are unsure how road wise she is and she is deaf. Lexie would prefer to live in a home with no other cats or dogs. Small pets will need to be securely housed. Nervous at first, this attention seeking fuss pot absolutely loves humans! She couldn’t be more different from the shy and defensive girl she initially is, than after she’s had a month or two to relax. Head fuss, cheek fuss, chin fuss, back fuss, she loves them all (though she’d rather not have her ample belly touched). Lexie doesn’t just like physical affection though, she loves human company too, be it sitting next to you and having a groom (sometimes you will also be groomed), or sitting next to you and sunbathing, or even having a nap curled up nearby (preferably on several soft, deep, squishy blankets). When not behaving like a couch potato, Lexie likes to have a little play with feathers, and every so often, a ball she can grab onto. Lexie is deaf so we are trying to teach her British Sign Language, but unfortunately, just like in hearing cats, just because she might understand us, doesn’t mean she’ll listen, so we’re unsure how much Lexie has actually taken in. Lexie is a large cat so will need a carrier to match! She will need at least three litter trays in her home. As a white cat, she will need pet safe sun cream on her ears.
